Kapetanios Bay Hotel Protaras

The location was good by the main street full of bars, restaurants and tourist shops. There's a bus stop right next to the hotel with a direct connection to Aiya Napa and a shuttle bus to Larnaca airport. Nearest grocery store is a few minutes walk. The beach is about 10 minute walk. Our windows were facing the pool/sea so street noise was not an issue. There was music all day until late, but it did not bother us. The room was quite small, barely room to open a suitcase. The bathroom and balcony were also very small. The room was decorated in a stylish modern way and so were the the lobby and pool areas, but the hotel isn't new and it is visible here and there. The air-conditioner was noisy and had a mind of it's own, the controls on the wall did nothing for it. Luckily it mostly tried to make the room cool (visiting in July). The breakfast was the same every day, but there was a good selection of options. The pool area was lovely, just full of people and very busy. The bigger pool was constantly full of kids playing with balls and floaties, the bar pool was full of soaking grownups. Better reserve your chair very early in the morning, there is not enough for everyone. The bar was busy, but food and drinks were very good and service friendly. The beach was also full from early morning, two chairs and umbrella cost 7,5 euros. The beach was beautiful and the water was very clear and the best part of Protaras.

The location is excellent! Right in the heart of Protaras. Rooms were clean and in good condition. The staff of the hotel was very helpful and always with a smile. And there is a Mikel coffee shop in the hotel which was perfect.

This facility offered everything I wanted from an accommodation. Central location next to main bus routes, spotless clean, big room &bathroom. The breakfast offered the most wide selection of food from eggs, beans, bacon to a variety of cheese, olives and fried nibbles to a variety of fruit and jams to a variety of cereals. In addition to the usual hot drinks and cold juices, they had a dispenser of hot milk. Friendly, professional and always smiling staff at the reception. Special services offered were pool towels rent, an iron &iron board at the floor for clients use and a late check out for 25euro. Ah, also: SILENT AC BUTTON OPTION!!

Everything, the service was immaculate Mr Nicko's is a legend, everyone was so polite and friendly, breakfast was lovely, abundant in variety as well as quantity and most importantly quality. The whole hotel was spotless with a pleasant aroma in the spacious reception area, the rooms were just right, everything we needed was included, the bed was so comfy but the pillow was a dream (i am fussy mind you). I couldn't praise this hotel enough. And Will gladly visit again.
